Introducing Hounds4aCause
You might have noticed that we have a new website address- Hounds4acause.com. Think Pink! has raised almost $9000 in the past year for Komen for the Cure so we decided it was time for hounds to help other causes. Proceeds from the shirt sales will benefit the following causes.
The Lupus Foundation of America. In honor of SuzieQ who designed our cute greyhound and also has Lupus.
Dr Guillermo Couto- Greyhound Health and Wellness Program at Ohio State University. So many greyhound owners have lost a beloved hound to cancer. We want to help raise money for Dr Couto so we came up with Think Gray!
We hope you love our new shirts and the appreciate the causes we picked- feel free to purchase one of each :) Be sure to check back later this year or early 2010 for new causes that hounds4acause will be involved with. |
Breast cancer touches so many people and so many lives each year. Many families are forever changed because of this horrid disease: either from the loss of a loved one or through the success and strength of a survivor. My cousin and a close family friend are my inspiration for this project. Watching their fight has motivated me to do something for them and the billions of others facing breast cancer. Introducing Think Pink!
When you make a purchase from the Think Pink! site, the proceeds will be donated to Susan G Komen for the Cure. As of September 2008 Think Pink! has raised $5,600. Thank you to everyone who has made a purchase, provided support and make this project a huge success. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by 2009.
